Colin is a Scottish-Australian musician who was the vocalist of the band Men at Work in the 1980′s. I have been a fan since I can remember.
It was a real treat for me to be able to see him perform last month at the Lyric in Stuart, let alone photograph him.
He is a real gentleman, very funny too. His life and travel stories entertained as much as the music.
Some of Colin’s solo work is really powerful. “Waiting for My Real Life to Begin” is currrently the soundtrack of a good Hertz commercial. Rental car companies aren’t particularly known for their commercials, but this one is worth watching. The link is at the bottom of the post.

It’s hard to describe the feeling of meeting a famous person, but it was one of those moments that makes my job great.
